1. Who we are and when these terms apply

These terms apply to all orders in our online shops dorpi.nl and dorpi.store. You buy from: Dorpi, sole proprietorship of Steven Houtenbos, Philitelaan 67-98, 5617 AM Eindhoven, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 95212671, VAT ID NL005137746B65, email shop@dorpi.nl, phone +31 6 37468022.

We sell to consumers and businesses. Where these terms refer to consumers, we mean anyone who is not buying for their trade, business or profession.

2. How the contract is formed

The products in our shop are not a binding offer but an invitation to order.

This is how you order: you choose a product (for a made-to-order map you choose the area, size and frame yourself in the map builder) and add it to your cart. In the checkout you enter your details, choose a payment method and see a summary of your order. Until you click the button that places the order with an obligation to pay, you can correct everything using the back buttons and the edit links in the checkout or the cart.

With that click you make a binding offer. The contract is formed as soon as we confirm your order by email.

The contract is concluded in Dutch, German or English, the language of the shop in which you order. We store the contract text. You receive your order details and these terms in the confirmation email; the terms are also always available on this page.

3. Made-to-order maps

We make a made-to-order map based on the area you choose. The 3D preview in the map builder shows what your map will look like; the printed map may differ in small ways, for example in fine details, colour and building heights.

We use official elevation data and open map data from governments and OpenStreetMap. These show the situation at the time of measurement, so recent construction or demolition is sometimes not yet included.

4. Prices and shipping costs

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany is free.

5. Payment

You pay when you order, using one of the payment methods shown in the checkout, such as iDEAL, credit card, PayPal or Klarna. Payment is processed by the payment provider concerned.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The delivery time is shown with the product and in our shipping policy. If we cannot deliver on time, we will tell you straight away.

The products remain our property until you have paid for them in full.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for our city maps with a fixed design. This does not apply to made-to-order maps. All details and the model form are in our withdrawal policy.

8. Guarantee and complaints

All products come with the statutory guarantee: the product must do what you can reasonably expect of it. If something is wrong, email us at shop@dorpi.nl, ideally with a photo. We will reply within 14 days.

If your parcel arrived damaged, please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us with PostNL; your rights remain even if you tell us later.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage in accordance with the law.

10. Disputes and applicable law

We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board. If you have a complaint, email us and we will find a solution together.

These terms and the contract are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country.
